This is an online magazine dedicated to showcasing the remarkable works of writers and artists whose social media accounts boast 1,000 or fewer followers, and those who don’t have a social media platform.

The reality is that many exceptional talents often go unnoticed or struggle to find platforms to share their creativity.

As a creator myself whose navigated the challenges of social media algorithms, I understand this struggle intimately.

“Wandering Metaphors Magazine aims to carve out a space where these hidden artistic voices shine.”

Hosted on Substack alongside the Wandering Metaphors blog, this magazine operates on zero submission fees, honoring the essence of artistic freedom.

Anyone can access and read the magazine’s content whether they subscribe to Wandering Metaphors or not. But your support in becoming a subscriber is immensely valued, and is the easiest way to remain in the loop.

Wandering Metaphors is a reader-supported publication. To receive new post updates and support the magazine, please consider becoming a free or paid subscriber below.

Additionally, selected writers and artists will have the option of receiving a complimentary month of access to the Wandering Metaphors blog as a token of appreciation (opting out is entirely your choice).

Unlike conventional online publications, Wandering Metaphors Magazine uses a “revolving door” submission process — submissions are published as they are accepted and prepared.

This means publication dates are announced as spots are occupied, fostering an element of surprise and excitement.
