1. I am a foodie!
I have a list collected of all my favorite places that I’ve eaten at, and what I’ve gotten there. I plan on creating a food book one day when I feel like I’ve collected enough.
2. I LOVE to dance.
Whether I’m at home alone or surrounded by people in a public setting. I used to be very shy and nervous about grabbing attention in public, but I can’t help myself anymore.
I just feel the music too much!
3. I’m ambidextrous.
I’m mainly right-handed when it comes to writing, but I lead with my left a lot (snowboarding/skateboarding gets confusing lol).
I’ve gone snowboarding twice and I’m what they call a switch foot.
I’ve toppled over many times because I tried to shift from one side to the other and caught the front of the board on snow and it was a face plant. 🥲
4. I have a very eclectic taste in music.
Some of my favorite genres are the 50s and jazz, but it can easily switch to country, Fergie (I know every word to ‘Fergilicious’), Sleep Token, and even lo-fi music.
My music library is so vast and ever-growing. I also like to steal music from people that I find fascinating and put them in playlists that remind me of them.
My playlist consists of titles such as:
feelings/emotions
favorite artists
songs that remind me of certain people
genres
5. I have a knack for natural medicine.
I have been studying herbal medicine for two-and-a-half years and plan to have my own business.
I am obsessed with everything that has to do with outside and I chose to take my life path in the direction to help heal others with plants and herbs.
I love healthy foods and a healthy lifestyle living. It has helped cure my anxiety and depression immensely.
I know not everybody is the same, but it has really helped me reflect on how important it is to take care of yourself and your vessel.
6. I love fashion.
Like my music taste, I have an eclectic style. I usually dress to my mood. It changes on a day-to-day basis.
Some of my favorite styles:
western/country
fancy/glamorous
skater
edgy
comfy
hippy/ boho
cosplay (rare occasion)
I am a believer in manifesting magic through physical appearance. It helps me feel confident and magnetic!
7. I love to bake and cook, especially from scratch.
My favorite thing to bake is pie. I’ve made homemade quesadillas, making my own tortillas shells, homemade pasta noodles and sauce, I even make my own butter, and so many more things.
Apple pie and peach pies are my favorite to cook but I prefer peach because it’s my favorite fruit. I made a homemade apple pie from hand-picked apples that my aunt had canned, and I made apple pie filling. It was so delicious.
There’s just something so pleasing about the love and attention you put into making food from basic ingredients.
8. I don’t post a lot about the art I create, but it’s something I enjoy thoroughly.
When I was a kid I wanted to be an artist, and to some degree I am.
I may not sell my art as much as I want, but it’s still something I am learning and doing for myself.
At my current job, which is at a unique art studio using wood to make signs, I teach canvas painting. It makes me feel like Bob Ross and I love it so very much!
I love to be able to spread the joy and skill of painting. I always preach that no two paintings will look alike and that’s what makes art so unique and spectacular.
9. I’ve just finished writing my first poetry book and it was such a moving experience.
I have so many ideas and books in mind. So many novels and things I want to create. But this first book took me on a journey through myself.
Through all of the pain and all of the pleasure. It showed me that life is not only about ups and downs but finding truth and experience in yourself.
Learning how to communicate your needs. Learning how we are all born to create.
My upcoming book title is ‘Shades of Green.’
10. June 2023 was the first time I’ve ever shared my writing.
I’ve been writing on and off for several years.
School made me feel so insecure about writing. This past year I decided to let go and put myself out into the world.
I let go of all my expectations and doubts and let myself just do it for me. I didn’t care where it would take me, who would see it, and what others thought.
This has helped me let go as a person and feel deeply what was coming from my soul. Share truths I’ve suppressed for many years.
I wasn’t leading a life I wanted to live for myself. I was taking in what I thought others wanted for me and told myself that’s what I wanted for me.
Knowing deep within my heart I wanted to be set free. Writing set a match to my soul and lit me on fire; deep within my core.
And this black flame can never be put out again. The flame of eternity has guided me back home.
Within myself to light the path and allow me to love. Deeply and eternally.
